This past year is one that embodied my perception of an "adult" year: quicker than ever, yet eventful. Scheduled breaks and semester cycles are but a faded memory. School years really were slower, knowing what each part of the upcoming year was scheduled to bring. Reflecting on this time 2013, I would never picture myself here. Finishing up a second year at my job, in the same apartment, with a wonderful man by my side. I'm blessed to have such stability, but with an adult year comes adult stress and an easy neglect of actions that were once so effortlessly placed as priority. Instead, they become resolutions.
*2014 Resolutions*
1. Read 10 new books
2. Monthly letter writing to friends (who wants one?)
3. Seek love and an unburdened mind
4. Do something creative once a week
6. Go back to New York
5. Pray without ceasing
7. Plan monthly small trips and adventures
8. Purge and organize everything in my apt
9. Create my healthiest body
10. Cook more recipes
This is the year to continue my education, reconnect with faraway (and close) friends, surround myself with positivity and lightness of being. A time to reignite my inspiration and creativity, both cerebrally and physically. Discover the best way to treat my soul and my body.
Here's to 2014: year of exploration, redirection, love, and progress.
