My pick of the LA shows you don't want to miss this week.

1.28 Sea Wolf- Segerstrom Center For The Arts (Costa Mesa, CA)
Art rock you can get lost in.
1.29 Local Natives- Amoeba Music (Hollywood, CA)
Both their LA show dates are sold out. If you didn't get a ticket, don't freak out. Go to Amoeba and see what all the hype is about for free and then stream their new album on iTunes. Their brand of indie rock is infectious. Gotta love those harmonies.
1.30 Jon Foreman- House of Blues Sunset Strip (West Hollywood, CA)
Acoustic music with thought-provoking lyrics.
2.1 Geographer- The Echo (Echo Park, CA)
Geographer brings a little angst to their electro poprock. It's perfectly danceable.
2.2 Max And The Moon- The Satellite (Silver Lake, CA)
I know these guys personally and they put on a show you don't want to miss. I promise you'll leave with a smile on your face. Singing along strongly recommended.
****If you haven't seen the lineup for Coachella yet... who am I kidding, you've seen it... tickets go on sale Tuesday, Jan 29th. It's going to be worth it kids.
